Buffalo Chicken Pizza with Bacon and Onions

It is a known fact that if you live in Savannah, Ga and you want pizza everyone tells you to visit Vinnie's. While Vinnie's does have great pizza.... Casey and I both agree we love Mellow Mushroom pizza better.... yum! I of course always order the same thing, exciting pepperoni pizza.... and maybe if I am up for it... add bacon (my favorite all time food). Casey on the other hand always orders their buffalo chicken pizza. Problem is if we ever crave or want to go to our favorite pizza hot spot we must drive downtown, find parking, walk to restaurant ( we sound lazy)... but sometimes you just aren't in that mood and to make it worse you are starving!

So I decided hey... lets try this whole make pizzas at home! Turns out it was a success! This one gets the hubby approved stamp! He loved it! He even said we don't even have to go to Mellow anymore... but for some reason I felt he was being a little extreme... and nice. :)

Ingredients:
3 slices of bacon (cooked and crumbled)
1/2 a small onion thinly sliced
1 package of pizza dough ( and whatever it calls for.... mine required water and oil )
2 tablespoons of ranch dressing
4 tablespoons of your favorite buffalo sauce/chicken wing sauce ( a little more for drizzling )
2-3 Chicken breast
1 cup of mozzarella

Directions:
1.) Make pizza dough according to directions (use their oven temperature). Spread dough on pizza sheet/cookie sheet.
2,) Cook bacon, drain, then cook onions in bacon grease until tender.
3.) Cook chicken with salt and pepper until done. Then Shred. Add 2 tablespoons of buffalo sauce to shredded chicken until all chicken is coded with sauce.
4.) Mix 2 tablespoons of ranch and 2 tablespoons of the buffalo sauce until well mixed and spread on the pizza dough.
5.) Add chicken, then mozzarella, bacon, and onions to the pizza dough. Drizzle with the buffalo sauce and put in the oven for 15-18 minutes (follow your pizza dough instructions).

*This recipe was so simple and easy to make and soooooo worth it! Next time I will double the dough and some other things just so Casey can have more for left overs.... one of the best parts of having pizza!
